The lovingkindness of God endures all day long.(nas) Psa 52:1 εἰς τὸ τέλος συνέσεως τῷ Δαυιδ (lxx) Psa 52:1 [Vulgate 51:1] victori ab erudito David [Vulgate 51:2] cum venisset Doec Idumeus et adnuntiasset Saul dicens ei venit David in domum Achimelech [Vulgate 51:3] quid gloriaris in malitia potens misericordia Dei tota est die(vulgate) 1 ׃52 לַמְנַצֵּ֗חַ מַשְׂכִּ֥יל לְדָוִֽד׃ 2 ׃52 בְּב֤וֹא ׀ דּוֹאֵ֣ג הָאֲדֹמִי֮ וַיַּגֵּ֢ד לְשָׁ֫א֥וּל וַיֹּ֥אמֶר ל֑וֹ בָּ֥א דָ֝וִ֗ד אֶל־בֵּ֥ית אֲחִימֶֽלֶךְ׃ Psalms Psa 52:1 (Eine Unterweisung Davids, vorzusingen; da Doeg, der Edomiter, kam und sagte Saul an und sprach: David ist in Ahimelechs Haus gekommen.) Was trotzest du denn, du Tyrann, daß du kannst Schaden tun; so doch Gottes Güte täglich währet?(dhs) Psa 52:1 To the Chief Musician. The goodness of God endures continually.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 52:2 ============ Psa 52:2 Your tongue devises destruction, Like a sharp razor, O worker of deceit.(nas) Psa 52:2 ἐν τῷ ἐλθεῖν Δωηκ τὸν Ιδουμαῖον καὶ ἀναγγεῖλαι τῷ Σαουλ καὶ εἰπεῖν αὐτῷ ἦλθεν Δαυιδ εἰς τὸν οἶκον Αβιμελεχ (lxx) Psa 52:2 [Vulgate 51:4] insidias cogitat lingua tua quasi novacula acuta faciens dolum(vulgate) 3 ׃52 מַה־תִּתְהַלֵּ֣ל בְּ֭רָעָה הַגִּבּ֑וֹר חֶ֥סֶד אֵ֝֗ל כָּל־הַיּֽוֹם׃ 4 ׃52 הַ֭וּוֹת תַּחְשֹׁ֣ב לְשׁוֹנֶ֑ךָ כְּתַ֥עַר מְ֝לֻטָּ֗שׁ עֹשֵׂ֥ה רְמִיָּֽה׃ Psalms Psa 52:2 Deine Zunge trachtet nach Schaden und schneidet mit Lügen wie ein scharfes Schermesser.(dhs) Psa 52:2 Your tongue devises destruction, Like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 52:3 ============ Psa 52:3 You love evil more than good, Falsehood more than speaking what is right. Selah.(nas) Psa 52:3 τί ἐγκαυχᾷ ἐν κακίᾳ ὁ δυνατός ἀνομίαν ὅλην τὴν ἡμέραν (lxx) Psa 52:3 [Vulgate 51:5] dilexisti malum magis quam bonum mendacium magis quam loqui iustitiam semper(vulgate) 5 ׃52 אָהַ֣בְתָּ רָּ֣ע מִטּ֑וֹב שֶׁ֓קֶר ׀ מִדַּבֵּ֖ר צֶ֣דֶק סֶֽלָה׃ Psalms Psa 52:3 Du redest lieber Böses denn Gutes, und Falsches denn Rechtes. Selah(nkjv) ======= Psalm 52:4 ============ Psa 52:4 You love all words that devour, O deceitful tongue.(nas) Psa 52:4 ἀδικίαν ἐλογίσατο ἡ γλῶσσά σου ὡσεὶ ξυρὸν ἠκονημένον ἐποίησας δόλον (lxx) Psa 52:4 [Vulgate 51:6] dilexisti omnia verba ad devorandum lingua dolosa(vulgate) 6 ׃52 אָהַ֥בְתָּ כָֽל־דִּבְרֵי־בָ֗לַע לְשׁ֣וֹן מִרְמָֽה׃ Psalms Psa 52:4 Du redest gerne alles, was zu verderben dient, mit falscher Zunge.(dhs) Psa 52:4 You love all devouring words, You deceitful tongue.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 52:5 ============ Psa 52:5 But God will break you down forever; He will snatch you up and tear you away from your tent, And uproot you from the land of the living. Selah.(nas) Psa 52:5 ἠγάπησας κακίαν ὑπὲρ ἀγαθωσύνην ἀδικίαν ὑπὲρ τὸ λαλῆσαι δικαιοσύνην διάψαλμα (lxx) Psa 52:5 [Vulgate 51:7] sed Deus destruet te in sempiternum terrebit et evellet te de tabernaculo et eradicabit te de terra viventium semper(vulgate) 7 ׃52 גַּם־אֵל֮ יִתָּצְךָ֢ לָ֫נֶ֥צַח יַחְתְּךָ֣ וְיִסָּחֲךָ֣ מֵאֹ֑הֶל וְשֵֽׁרֶשְׁךָ֨ מֵאֶ֖רֶץ חַיִּ֣ים סֶֽלָה׃ Psalms Psa 52:5 Darum wird dich Gott auch ganz und gar zerstören und zerschlagen und aus deiner Hütte reißen und aus dem Lande der Lebendigen ausrotten. (Sela.)(dhs) Psa 52:5 God shall likewise destroy you forever; He shall take you away, and pluck you out of your dwelling place, And uproot you from the land of the living. Selah(nkjv) ======= Psalm 52:6 ============ Psa 52:6 The righteous will see and fear, And will laugh at him, saying,(nas) Psa 52:6 ἠγάπησας πάντα τὰ ῥήματα καταποντισμοῦ γλῶσσαν δολίαν (lxx) Psa 52:6 [Vulgate 51:8] videbunt iusti et timebunt et super eum ridebunt(vulgate) 8 ׃52 וְיִרְא֖וּ צַדִּיקִ֥ים וְיִירָ֗אוּ וְעָלָ֥יו יִשְׂחָֽקוּ׃ Psalms Psa 52:6 Und die Gerechten werden es sehen und sich fürchten und werden sein lachen:(dhs) Psa 52:6 The righteous also shall see and fear, And shall laugh at him, saying,(nkjv) ======= Psalm 52:7 ============ Psa 52:7 "Behold, the man who would not make God his refuge, But trusted in the abundance of his riches And was strong in his evil desire."(nas) Psa 52:7 διὰ τοῦτο ὁ θεὸς καθελεῖ σε εἰς τέλος ἐκτίλαι σε καὶ μεταναστεύσαι σε ἀπὸ σκηνώματος καὶ τὸ ῥίζωμά σου ἐκ γῆς ζώντων διάψαλμα (lxx) Psa 52:7 [Vulgate 51:9] ecce vir qui non posuit Deum fortitudinem suam sed speravit in multitudine divitiarum suarum confortatus est in insidiis suis(vulgate) 9 ׃52 הִנֵּ֤ה הַגֶּ֗בֶר לֹ֤א יָשִׂ֥ים אֱלֹהִ֗ים מָֽע֫וּזּ֥וֹ וַ֭יִּבְטַח בְּרֹ֣ב עָשְׁר֑וֹ יָ֝עֹ֗ז בְּהַוָּתֽוֹ׃ Psalms Psa 52:7 "Siehe, das ist der Mann, der Gott nicht für seinen Trost hielt, sondern verließ sich auf seinen großen Reichtum und war mächtig, Schaden zu tun."(dhs) Psa 52:7 "Here is the man who did not make God his strength, But trusted in the abundance of his riches, And strengthened himself in his wickedness."(nkjv) ======= Psalm 52:8 ============ Psa 52:8 But as for me, I am like a green olive tree in the house of God; I trust in the lovingkindness of God forever and ever.(nas) Psa 52:8 καὶ ὄψονται δίκαιοι καὶ φοβηθήσονται καὶ ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸν γελάσονται καὶ ἐροῦσιν (lxx) Psa 52:8 [Vulgate 51:10] ego sicut oliva virens in domo Dei speravi in misericordia Dei in saeculum sempiternum(vulgate) 10 ׃52 וַאֲנִ֤י ׀ כְּזַ֣יִת רַ֭עֲנָן בְּבֵ֣ית אֱלֹהִ֑ים בָּטַ֥חְתִּי בְחֶֽסֶד־אֱ֝לֹהִ֗ים עוֹלָ֥ם וָעֶֽד׃ Psalms Psa 52:8 Ich aber werde bleiben wie ein grüner Ölbaum im Hause Gottes, verlasse mich auf Gottes Güte immer und ewiglich.(dhs) Psa 52:8 But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God; I trust in the mercy of God forever and ever.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 52:9 ============ Psa 52:9 I will give You thanks forever, because You have done it, And I will wait on Your name, for it is good, in the presence of Your godly ones.(nas) Psa 52:9 ἐξομολογήσομαί σοι εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα ὅτι ἐποίησας καὶ ὑπομενῶ τὸ ὄνομά σου ὅτι χρηστὸν ἐναντίον τῶν ὁσίων σου (lxx) Psa 52:9 [Vulgate 51:11] confitebor tibi in saeculo quoniam fecisti et expectabo nomen tuum quoniam bonum in conspectu sanctorum tuorum(vulgate) 11 ׃52 אוֹדְךָ֣ לְ֭עוֹלָם כִּ֣י עָשִׂ֑יתָ וַאֲקַוֶּ֥ה שִׁמְךָ֥ כִֽי־ט֝֗וֹב נֶ֣גֶד חֲסִידֶֽיךָ׃ Psalms Psa 52:9 Ich danke dir ewiglich, denn du kannst's wohl machen; ich will harren auf deinen Namen, denn deine Heiligen haben Freude daran.(dhs) Psa 52:9 I will praise You forever, Because You have done it; And in the presence of Your saints I will wait on Your name, for it is good.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 53:1 ============ top of the page
