aber der Gottlose wird fallen durch sein gottloses Wesen.(dhs) Pro 11:5 The righteousness of the blameless will direct his way aright, But the wicked will fall by his own wickedness.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 11:6 ============ Pro 11:6 The righteousness of the upright will deliver them, But the treacherous will be caught by their own greed.(nas) Pro 11:6 δικαιοσύνη ἀνδρῶν ὀρθῶν ῥύεται αὐτούς τῇ δὲ ἀπωλείᾳ αὐτῶν ἁλίσκονται παράνομοι (lxx) Pro 11:6 Justitia rectorum liberabit eos, et in insidiis suis capientur iniqui.(vulgate) 6 ׃11 צִדְקַ֣ת יְ֭שָׁרִים תַּצִּילֵ֑ם וּ֝בְהַוַּ֗ת בֹּגְדִ֥ים יִלָּכֵֽדוּ׃ Proverbs Pro 11:6 Die Gerechtigkeit der Frommen wird sie erretten; justi autem liberabuntur scientia.(vulgate) 9 ׃11 בְּפֶ֗ה חָ֭נֵף יַשְׁחִ֣ת רֵעֵ֑הוּ וּ֝בְדַ֗עַת צַדִּיקִ֥ים יֵחָלֵֽצוּ׃ Proverbs Pro 11:9 Durch den Mund des Heuchlers wird sein Nächster verderbt; aber die Gerechten merken's und werden erlöst.(dhs) Pro 11:9 The hypocrite with his mouth destroys his neighbor, But through knowledge the righteous will be delivered.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 11:10 ============ Pro 11:10 When it goes well with the righteous, the city rejoices, And when the wicked perish, there is joyful shouting.(nas) Pro 11:10 ἐν ἀγαθοῖς δικαίων κατώρθωσεν πόλις (lxx) Pro 11:10 In bonis justorum exsultabit civitas, et in perditione impiorum erit laudatio.(vulgate) 10 ׃11 בְּט֣וּב צַ֭דִּיקִים תַּעֲלֹ֣ץ קִרְיָ֑ה וּבַאֲבֹ֖ד רְשָׁעִ֣ים רִנָּֽה׃ Proverbs Pro 11:10 Eine Stadt freut sich, wenn's den Gerechten wohl geht; qui autem fidelis est animi, celat amici commissum.(vulgate) 13 ׃11 הוֹלֵ֣ךְ רָ֭כִיל מְגַלֶּה־סּ֑וֹד וְנֶאֱמַן־ר֝֗וּחַ מְכַסֶּ֥ה דָבָֽר׃ Proverbs Pro 11:13 Ein Verleumder verrät, was er heimlich weiß; aber wer eines getreuen Herzens ist, verbirgt es.(dhs) Pro 11:13 A talebearer reveals secrets, But he who is of a faithful spirit conceals a matter.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 11:14 ============ Pro 11:14 Where there is no guidance the people fall, But in abundance of counselors there is victory.(nas) Pro 11:14 οἷς μὴ ὑπάρχει κυβέρνησις πίπτουσιν ὥσπερ φύλλα σωτηρία δὲ ὑπάρχει ἐν πολλῇ βουλῇ (lxx) Pro 11:14 Ubi non est gubernator, populus corruet; salus autem, ubi multa consilia.(vulgate) 14 ׃11 בְּאֵ֣ין תַּ֭חְבֻּלוֹת יִפָּל־עָ֑ם וּ֝תְשׁוּעָ֗ה בְּרֹ֣ב יוֹעֵֽץ׃ Proverbs Pro 11:14 Wo nicht Rat ist, da geht das Volk unter; wo aber viel Ratgeber sind, da geht es wohl zu.(dhs) Pro 11:14 Where there is no counsel, the people fall; But in the multitude of counselors there is safety.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 11:15 ============ Pro 11:15 He who is guarantor for a stranger will surely suffer for it, But he who hates being a guarantor is secure.(nas) Pro 11:15 πονηρὸς κακοποιεῖ ὅταν συμμείξῃ δικαίῳ μισεῖ δὲ ἦχον ἀσφαλείας (lxx) Pro 11:15 Affligetur malo qui fidem facit pro extraneo; semen autem justorum salvabitur.(vulgate) 21 ׃11 יָ֣ד לְ֭יָד לֹא־יִנָּ֣קֶה רָּ֑ע וְזֶ֖רַע צַדִּיקִ֣ים נִמְלָֽט׃ Proverbs Pro 11:21 Den Bösen hilft nichts, wenn sie auch alle Hände zusammentäten; aber der Gerechten Same wird errettet werden.(dhs) Pro 11:21 Though they join forces, the wicked will not go unpunished; But the posterity of the righteous will be delivered.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 11:22 ============ Pro 11:22 As a ring of gold in a swine's snout So is a beautiful woman who lacks discretion.(nas) Pro 11:22 ὥσπερ ἐνώτιον ἐν ῥινὶ ὑός οὕτως γυναικὶ κακόφρονι κάλλος (lxx) Pro 11:22 Circulus aureus in naribus suis, mulier pulchra et fatua.(vulgate) 22 ׃11 נֶ֣זֶם זָ֭הָב בְּאַ֣ף חֲזִ֑יר אִשָּׁ֥ה יָ֝פָ֗ה וְסָ֣רַת טָֽעַם׃ Proverbs Pro 11:22 Ein schönes Weib ohne Zucht ist wie eine Sau mit einem goldenen Haarband.(dhs) Pro 11:22 As a ring of gold in a swine's snout, So is a lovely woman who lacks discretion.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 11:23 ============ Pro 11:23 The desire of the righteous is only good, But the expectation of the wicked is wrath.(nas) Pro 11:23 ἐπιθυμία δικαίων πᾶσα ἀγαθή ἐλπὶς δὲ ἀσεβῶν ἀπολεῖται (lxx) Pro 11:23 Desiderium justorum omne bonum est; præstolatio impiorum furor.(vulgate) 23 ׃11 תַּאֲוַ֣ת צַדִּיקִ֣ים אַךְ־ט֑וֹב תִּקְוַ֖ת רְשָׁעִ֣ים עֶבְרָֽה׃ Proverbs Pro 11:23 Der Gerechten Wunsch muß doch wohl geraten, und der Gottlosen Hoffen wird Unglück.(dhs) Pro 11:23 The desire of the righteous is only good, But the expectation of the wicked is wrath.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 11:24 ============ Pro 11:24 There is one who scatters, and yet increases all the more, And there is one who withholds what is justly due, and yet it results only in want.(nas) Pro 11:24 εἰσὶν οἳ τὰ ἴδια σπείροντες πλείονα ποιοῦσιν εἰσὶν καὶ οἳ συνάγοντες ἐλαττονοῦνται (lxx) Pro 11:24 Alii dividunt propria, et ditiores fiunt; alii rapiunt non sua, et semper in egestate sunt.(vulgate) 24 ׃11 יֵ֣שׁ מְ֭פַזֵּר וְנוֹסָ֥ף ע֑וֹד וְחוֹשֵׂ֥ךְ מִ֝יֹּ֗שֶׁר אַךְ־לְמַחְסֽוֹר׃ Proverbs Pro 11:24 Einer teilt aus und hat immer mehr; ein anderer kargt, da er nicht soll, und wird doch ärmer.(dhs) Pro 11:24 There is one who scatters, yet increases more; And there is one who withholds more than is right, But it leads to poverty.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 11:25 ============ Pro 11:25 The generous man will be prosperous, And he who waters will himself be watered.(nas) Pro 11:25 ψυχὴ εὐλογουμένη πᾶσα ἁπλῆ ἀνὴρ δὲ θυμώδης οὐκ εὐσχήμων (lxx) Pro 11:25 Anima quæ benedicit impinguabitur, et qui inebriat, ipse quoque inebriabitur.(vulgate) 25 ׃11 נֶֽפֶשׁ־בְּרָכָ֥ה תְדֻשָּׁ֑ן וּ֝מַרְוֶ֗ה גַּם־ה֥וּא יוֹרֶֽא׃ Proverbs Pro 11:25 Die Seele, die da reichlich segnet, wird gelabt; benedictio autem super caput vendentium.(vulgate) 26 ׃11 מֹ֣נֵֽעַ בָּ֭ר יִקְּבֻ֣הוּ לְא֑וֹם וּ֝בְרָכָ֗ה לְרֹ֣אשׁ מַשְׁבִּֽיר׃ Proverbs Pro 11:26 Wer Korn innehält, dem fluchen die Leute; aber Segen kommt über den, der es verkauft.(dhs) Pro 11:26 The people will curse him who withholds grain, But blessing will be on the head of him who sells it.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 11:27 ============ Pro 11:27 He who diligently seeks good seeks favor, But he who seeks evil, evil will come to him.(nas) Pro 11:27 τεκταινόμενος ἀγαθὰ ζητεῖ χάριν ἀγαθήν ἐκζητοῦντα δὲ κακά καταλήμψεται αὐτόν (lxx) Pro 11:27 Bene consurgit diluculo qui quærit bona;
