qui autem confidit in cogitationibus suis impie agit.(vulgate) 2 ׃12 ט֗וֹב יָפִ֣יק רָ֭צוֹן מֵיְהוָ֑ה וְאִ֖ישׁ מְזִמּ֣וֹת יַרְשִֽׁיעַ׃ Proverbs Pro 12:2 Wer fromm ist, der bekommt Trost vom HERRN; aber ein Ruchloser verdammt sich selbst.(dhs) Pro 12:2 A good man obtains favor from the Lord, But a man of wicked intentions He will condemn.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 12:3 ============ Pro 12:3 A man will not be established by wickedness, But the root of the righteous will not be moved.(nas) Pro 12:3 οὐ κατορθώσει ἄνθρωπος ἐξ ἀνόμου αἱ δὲ ῥίζαι τῶν δικαίων οὐκ ἐξαρθήσονται (lxx) Pro 12:3 Non roborabitur homo ex impietate, et radix justorum non commovebitur.(vulgate) 3 ׃12 לֹא־יִכּ֣וֹן אָדָ֣ם בְּרֶ֑שַׁע וְשֹׁ֥רֶשׁ צַ֝דִּיקִ֗ים בַּל־יִמּֽוֹט׃ Proverbs Pro 12:3 Ein gottlos Wesen fördert den Menschen nicht; effugiet autem justus de angustia.(vulgate) 13 ׃12 בְּפֶ֣שַׁע שְׂ֭פָתַיִם מוֹקֵ֣שׁ רָ֑ע וַיֵּצֵ֖א מִצָּרָ֣ה צַדִּֽיק׃ Proverbs Pro 12:13 Der Böse wird gefangen in seinen eigenen falschen Worten; aber der Gerechte entgeht der Angst.(dhs) Pro 12:13 The wicked is ensnared by the transgression of his lips, But the righteous will come through trouble.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 12:14 ============ Pro 12:14 A man will be satisfied with good by the fruit of his words, And the deeds of a man's hands will return to him.(nas) Pro 12:14 ἀπὸ καρπῶν στόματος ψυχὴ ἀνδρὸς πλησθήσεται ἀγαθῶν ἀνταπόδομα δὲ χειλέων αὐτοῦ δοθήσεται αὐτῷ (lxx) Pro 12:14 De fructu oris sui unusquisque replebitur bonis, et juxta opera manuum suarum retribuetur ei.(vulgate) 14 ׃12 מִפְּרִ֣י פִי־אִ֭ישׁ יִשְׂבַּע־ט֑וֹב וּגְמ֥וּל יְדֵי־אָ֝דָ֗ם *ישוב **יָשִׁ֥יב לֽוֹ׃ Proverbs Pro 12:14 Viel Gutes kommt dem Mann durch die Frucht des Mundes; aber die falsche Zunge besteht nicht lange.(dhs) Pro 12:19 The truthful lip shall be established forever, But a lying tongue is but for a moment.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 12:20 ============ Pro 12:20 Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, But counselors of peace have joy.(nas) Pro 12:20 δόλος ἐν καρδίᾳ τεκταινομένου κακά οἱ δὲ βουλόμενοι εἰρήνην εὐφρανθήσονται (lxx) Pro 12:20 Dolus in corde cogitantium mala; qui autem pacis ineunt consilia, sequitur eos gaudium.(vulgate) 20 ׃12 מִ֭רְמָה בְּלֶב־חֹ֣רְשֵׁי רָ֑ע וּֽלְיֹעֲצֵ֖י שָׁל֣וֹם שִׂמְחָֽה׃ Proverbs Pro 12:20 Die, so Böses raten, betrügen; aber die zum Frieden raten, schaffen Freude.(dhs) Pro 12:20 Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, But counselors of peace have joy.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 12:21 ============ Pro 12:21 No harm befalls the righteous, But the wicked are filled with trouble.(nas) Pro 12:21 οὐκ ἀρέσει τῷ δικαίῳ οὐδὲν ἄδικον οἱ δὲ ἀσεβεῖς πλησθήσονται κακῶν (lxx) Pro 12:21 Non contristabit justum quidquid ei acciderit: impii autem replebuntur malo.(vulgate) 21 ׃12 לֹא־יְאֻנֶּ֣ה לַצַּדִּ֣יק כָּל־אָ֑וֶן וּ֝רְשָׁעִ֗ים מָ֣לְאוּ רָֽע׃ Proverbs Pro 12:21 Es wird dem Gerechten kein Leid geschehen; aber die Gottlosen werden voll Unglück sein.(dhs) Pro 12:21 No grave trouble will overtake the righteous, But the wicked shall be filled with evil.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 12:22 ============ Pro 12:22 Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, But those who deal faithfully are His delight.(nas) Pro 12:22 βδέλυγμα κυρίῳ χείλη ψευδῆ ὁ δὲ ποιῶν πίστεις δεκτὸς παρ᾽ αὐτῷ (lxx) Pro 12:22 Abominatio est Domino labia mendacia; qui autem fideliter agunt placent ei.(vulgate) 22 ׃12 תּוֹעֲבַ֣ת יְ֭הוָה שִׂפְתֵי־שָׁ֑קֶר וְעֹשֵׂ֖י אֱמוּנָ֣ה רְצוֹנֽוֹ׃ Proverbs Pro 12:22 Falsche Mäuler sind dem HERRN ein Greuel; die aber treulich handeln, gefallen ihm wohl.(dhs) Pro 12:22 Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, But those who deal truthfully are His delight.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 12:23 ============ Pro 12:23 A prudent man conceals knowledge, But the heart of fools proclaims folly.(nas) Pro 12:23 ἀνὴρ συνετὸς θρόνος αἰσθήσεως καρδία δὲ ἀφρόνων συναντήσεται ἀραῖς (lxx) Pro 12:23 Homo versatus celat scientiam, et cor insipientium provocat stultitiam.]~(vulgate) 23 ׃12 אָדָ֣ם עָ֭רוּם כֹּ֣סֶה דָּ֑עַת וְלֵ֥ב כְּ֝סִילִ֗ים יִקְרָ֥א אִוֶּֽלֶת׃ Proverbs Pro 12:23 Ein verständiger Mann trägt nicht Klugheit zur Schau; aber das Herz der Narren ruft seine Narrheit aus.(dhs) Pro 12:23 A prudent man conceals knowledge, But the heart of fools proclaims foolishness.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 12:24 ============ Pro 12:24 The hand of the diligent will rule, But the slack hand will be put to forced labor.(nas) Pro 12:24 χεὶρ ἐκλεκτῶν κρατήσει εὐχερῶς δόλιοι δὲ ἔσονται εἰς προνομήν (lxx) Pro 12:24 [Manus fortium dominabitur;
