Psalm 41


Psalm 41:1 How blessed is he who considers the helpless; The Lord will deliver him in a day of trouble.
Psalm 41:2 The Lord will protect him and keep him alive, And he shall be called blessed upon the earth; And do not give him over to the desire of his enemies.
Psalm 41:3 The Lord will sustain him upon his sickbed; In his illness, You restore him to health.
Psalm 41:4 As for me, I said, "O Lord, be gracious to me; Heal my soul, for I have sinned against You."
Psalm 41:5 My enemies speak evil against me, "When will he die, and his name perish?"
Psalm 41:6 And when he comes to see me, he speaks falsehood; His heart gathers wickedness to itself; When he goes outside, he tells it.
Psalm 41:7 All who hate me whisper together against me; Against me they devise my hurt, saying,
Psalm 41:8 "A wicked thing is poured out upon him, That when he lies down, he will not rise up again."
Psalm 41:9 Even my close friend in whom I trusted, Who ate my bread, Has lifted up his heel against me.
Psalm 41:10 But You, O Lord, be gracious to me and raise me up, That I may repay them.
Psalm 41:11 By this I know that You are pleased with me, Because my enemy does not shout in triumph over me.
Psalm 41:12 As for me, You uphold me in my integrity, And You set me in Your presence forever.
Psalm 41:13 Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, From everlasting to everlasting. Amen and Amen.

Psalm 41:1 Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. Psalm 41:1 How blessed is he who considers the helpless; The Lord will deliver him in a day of trouble. Psalm 41:1 εἰς τὸ τέλος ψαλμὸς τῷ Δαυιδ
Psalm 41:2 The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies. Psalm 41:2 The Lord will protect him and keep him alive, And he shall be called blessed upon the earth; And do not give him over to the desire of his enemies. Psalm 41:2 μακάριος ὁ συνίων ἐπὶ πτωχὸν καὶ πένητα ἐν ἡμέρᾳ πονηρᾷ ῥύσεται αὐτὸν ὁ κύριος
Psalm 41:3 The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness. Psalm 41:3 The Lord will sustain him upon his sickbed; In his illness, You restore him to health. Psalm 41:3 κύριος διαφυλάξαι αὐτὸν καὶ ζήσαι αὐτὸν καὶ μακαρίσαι αὐτὸν ἐν τῇ γῇ καὶ μὴ παραδῴη αὐτὸν εἰς χεῖρας ἐχθροῦ αὐτοῦ
Psalm 41:4 I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee. Psalm 41:4 As for me, I said, "O Lord, be gracious to me; Heal my soul, for I have sinned against You." Psalm 41:4 κύριος βοηθήσαι αὐτῷ ἐπὶ κλίνης ὀδύνης αὐτοῦ ὅλην τὴν κοίτην αὐτοῦ ἔστρεψας ἐν τῇ ἀρρωστίᾳ αὐτοῦ
Psalm 41:5 Mine enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish? Psalm 41:5 My enemies speak evil against me, "When will he die, and his name perish?" Psalm 41:5 ἐγὼ εἶπα κύριε ἐλέησόν με ἴασαι τὴν ψυχήν μου ὅτι ἥμαρτόν σοι
Psalm 41:6 And if he come to see me, he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth abroad, he telleth it. Psalm 41:6 And when he comes to see me, he speaks falsehood; His heart gathers wickedness to itself; When he goes outside, he tells it. Psalm 41:6 οἱ ἐχθροί μου εἶπαν κακά μοι πότε ἀποθανεῖται καὶ ἀπολεῖται τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ

Psalm 41:8 An evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast unto him: and now that he lieth he shall rise up no more. Psalm 41:9 Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me. Psalm 41:11 By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me. Psalm 41:11 By this I know that You are pleased with me, Because my enemy does not shout in triumph over me. Psalm 41:11 σὺ δέ κύριε ἐλέησόν με καὶ ἀνάστησόν με καὶ ἀνταποδώσω αὐτοῖς
Psalm 41:12 And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever. Psalm 41:12 As for me, You uphold me in my integrity, And You set me in Your presence forever. Psalm 41:12 ἐν τούτῳ ἔγνων ὅτι τεθέληκάς με ὅτι οὐ μὴ ἐπιχαρῇ ὁ ἐχθρός μου ἐπ᾽ ἐμέ
Psalm 41:13 Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen. Psalm 41:13 Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, From everlasting to everlasting. Amen and Amen. Psa:41:13:ἐμοῦ δὲ διὰ τὴν ἀκακίαν ἀντελάβου καὶ ἐβεβαίωσάς με ἐνώπιόν σου εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα Psalm 40:14 εὐλογητὸς κύριος ὁ θεὸς Ισραηλ ἀπὸ τοῦ αἰῶνος καὶ εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα γένοιτο γένοιτο
