Psalm 91


Psalm 91:1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
Psalm 91:2 I will say to the Lord, "My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!"
Psalm 91:3 For it is He who delivers you from the snare of the trapper And from the deadly pestilence.
Psalm 91:4 He will cover you with His pinions, And under His wings you may seek refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark.
Psalm 91:5 You will not be afraid of the terror by night, Or of the arrow that flies by day;
Psalm 91:6 Of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, Or of the destruction that lays waste at noon.
Psalm 91:7 A thousand may fall at your side And ten thousand at your right hand, But it shall not approach you.
Psalm 91:8 You will only look on with your eyes And see the recompense of the wicked.
Psalm 91:9 For you have made the Lord, my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place.
Psalm 91:10 No evil will befall you, Nor will any plague come near your tent.
Psalm 91:11 For He will give His angels charge concerning you, To guard you in all your ways.
Psalm 91:12 They will bear you up in their hands, That you do not strike your foot against a stone.
Psalm 91:13 You will tread upon the lion and cobra, The young lion and the serpent you will trample down.
Psalm 91:14 "Because he has loved Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him securely on high, because he has known My name.
Psalm 91:15 "He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him.
Psalm 91:16 "With a long life I will satisfy him And let him see My salvation. "

Psalm 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1 αἶνος ᾠδῆς τῷ Δαυιδ ὁ κατοικῶν ἐν βοηθείᾳ τοῦ ὑψίστου ἐν σκέπῃ τοῦ θεοῦ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ αὐλισθήσεται
Psalm 91:2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Psalm 91:2 I will say to the Lord, "My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!" Psalm 91:2 ἐρεῖ τῷ κυρίῳ ἀντιλήμπτωρ μου εἶ καὶ καταφυγή μου ὁ θεός μου ἐλπιῶ ἐπ᾽ αὐτόν
Psalm 91:3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. Psalm 91:3 For it is He who delivers you from the snare of the trapper And from the deadly pestilence. Psalm 91:3 ὅτι αὐτὸς ῥύσεταί με ἐκ παγίδος θηρευτῶν καὶ ἀπὸ λόγου ταραχώδους
Psalm 91:4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Psalm 91:4 He will cover you with His pinions, And under His wings you may seek refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark. Psalm 91:4 ἐν τοῖς μεταφρένοις αὐτοῦ ἐπισκιάσει σοι καὶ ὑπὸ τὰς πτέρυγας αὐτοῦ ἐλπιεῖς ὅπλῳ κυκλώσει σε ἡ ἀλήθεια αὐτοῦ
Psalm 91:5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Psalm 91:5 You will not be afraid of the terror by night, Or of the arrow that flies by day; Psalm 91:5 οὐ φοβηθήσῃ ἀπὸ φόβου νυκτερινοῦ ἀπὸ βέλους πετομένου ἡμέρας
Psalm 91:6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. Psalm 91:8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Psalm 91:8 You will only look on with your eyes And see the recompense of the wicked. Psalm 91:8 πλὴν τοῖς ὀφθαλμοῖς σου κατανοήσεις καὶ ἀνταπόδοσιν ἁμαρτωλῶν ὄψῃ
Psalm 91:9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; Psalm 91:9 For you have made the Lord, my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place. Psalm 91:9 ὅτι σύ κύριε ἡ ἐλπίς μου τὸν ὕψιστον ἔθου καταφυγήν σου
Psalm 91:10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. Psalm 91:10 No evil will befall you, Nor will any plague come near your tent. Psalm 91:10 οὐ προσελεύσεται πρὸς σὲ κακά καὶ μάστιξ οὐκ ἐγγιεῖ τῷ σκηνώματί σου
Psalm 91:11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. Psalm 91:11 For He will give His angels charge concerning you, To guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11 ὅτι τοῖς ἀγγέλοις αὐτοῦ ἐντελεῖται περὶ σοῦ τοῦ διαφυλάξαι σε ἐν πάσαις ταῖς ὁδοῖς σου
Psalm 91:12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Psalm 91:12 They will bear you up in their hands, That you do not strike your foot against a stone. Psalm 91:12 ἐπὶ χειρῶν ἀροῦσίν σε μήποτε προσκόψῃς πρὸς λίθον τὸν πόδα σου
Psalm 91:13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. Psalm 91:13 You will tread upon the lion and cobra, The young lion and the serpent you will trample down. Psalm 91:13 ἐπ᾽ ἀσπίδα καὶ βασιλίσκον ἐπιβήσῃ καὶ καταπατήσεις λέοντα καὶ δράκοντα
Psalm 91:14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. Psalm 91:14 "Because he has loved Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him securely on high, because he has known My name. Psalm 91:14 ὅτι ἐπ᾽ ἐμὲ ἤλπισεν καὶ ῥύσομαι αὐτόν σκεπάσω αὐτόν ὅτι ἔγνω τὸ ὄνομά μου
Psalm 91:15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. Psalm 91:15 "He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. Psalm 91:15 ἐπικαλέσεταί με καὶ εἰσακούσομαι αὐτοῦ μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ εἰμι ἐν θλίψει καὶ ἐξελοῦμαι καὶ δοξάσω αὐτόν
Psalm 91:16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation. Psalm 91:16 "With a long life I will satisfy him And let him see My salvation. " Psalm 91:16 μακρότητα ἡμερῶν ἐμπλήσω αὐτὸν καὶ δείξω αὐτῷ τὸ σωτήριόν μου
